Take Care

TSSCOh…today is a VERY BUSY day for my blog!  First…here is my card for the Techonostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge.  I’ve REALLY been having fun with this set!  Would you like to see 4 more cards using this set, get a free downloadable project sheet for those four cards AND sign up for blog candy?  Then check out this post!  But don’t delay…you must sign up for the blog candy today (Monday!)

Okay…some quick notes about this card.  The base of the card is Marina Mist.  I took a piece of Very Vanilla, added a piece of the dsp from the Print Poetry pack and layered onto Midnight Muse.  Next I stamped the branch using Early Espresso on Very Vanilla and cut out.  I cut the branch towards the right side (under the nest) so that it would extend all the way across my card front.  I stamped Take Care using Midnight Muse then added to the panel to the card front using dimensionals.  Aren’t they cool leaves?  Well they are the ‘ornament bitty punch’.  I trimmed off the hanger part and they were a perfect sized leaf for this image.  The bird’s nest is stamped using Early Espresso on Crumb Cake.  This is done twice (my download project sheet – link above) give the details how I made my nest), punched, layered and added to the card front.  Finally I stamped the eggs using Marina Mist, cut out and added to the nest using dimensionals.

This week is Preview Week for Create with Connie and Mary Card “Create”tions for All Occasions.  Both Connie and I will be sharing a preview project so you can see what Card “Create”tions is all about.   So check out my preview here then head over to Create with Connie and Mary for my download and more details.
