Merry Everything

CCMC330This is just THE BEST color combo for a Fall/Autumn card and it is the color challenge for Create with Connie and Mary Thursday challenge this week.

The colors are Hello Honey, Tangelo Twist and Blackberry Bliss and yes, you have seen me use these colors before!  I do really LOVE them.

I wanted to do a simple card that just really showed off the colors and here is my very simple card!

  • Add three strips of Blackberry Bliss 4 3/4 x 1/4.  Once they are on the card, cut down so finished card size is 4 1/4.

SUO110It’s time for another SUO challenge and this time the theme for the challenge is Marker Fun!

Well…what can I say…anymore when I think of markers…I think of Blendabilities!  LOVE these!  What is so amazing about this is that it actually does make it look like I can color.

When I was trying to figure out what image to use, Partridge & Pears just sat there saying ‘chose me’!  How delightful to color it in with the Blendabilities!

Here’s the details -

  • Old Olive – 4 1/4 x 11 folded

Bright & Beautiful

TSSC341Can you believe it?  It’s another Monday already.  And you all know that when it is another Monday that means it is time for another Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge!

I just love those sketches where as soon as you see it, it sort of just designs itself in your mind.  Yep…this was one of those.  What I like about this card is that overall it is a pretty simple card (and nice and flat for mailing!) Yet it’s all sparkly and shiny for the Christmas season!

Here’s the details -

  • Very Vanilla – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
  • Very Vanilla – 3 x 4 1/4.  Stamp greeting using Versamark and gold emboss.
  • Layer onto Gold Foil – 3 1/8 x 4 3/8.  NOTE:  I cut out a 1/2″ frame all around.  It saves the paper and makes it easier to attach the Very Vanilla panel.
  • Add panel to card base.
  • Wrap piece of Gold Satin 7/8″ ribbon (secure in front – star will hide it)
  • Add Gold Sequins
  • Stamp Star (smaller one) using Versamark on Very Vanilla and cut out using Star Framelit.  Add to card front using dimensionals to finish it off.

TSSC341I hope that when you see this sketch you will be inspired to join us!  Don’t forget to check out the other members of the team and remember go to the Technostamper blog to play along!
