For All Things

CC498I saw the colors for the color challenge on SCS (Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Elegant Eggplant) this morning and immediate had this idea for a card.  I just LOVE when that happens and when it comes together so quickly!  But then…when it is a clean and simple card, it usually does!

Here’s the details -

  • Very Vanilla – 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 folded
  • Very Vanilla – 3 x 6 1/4, stamp greeting using Memento Black, add to card base using dimensionals
  • Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Elegant Eggplant – cut out squares using second to smallest square framelit
  • Cut out leaf image in each one
  • Round top right corner using the Project Life Corner Rounder
  • Add each square using dimensionals
  • Add some small rhinestones to finish it off.

See how simple that is!

Set(s): For All Things
Paper: Very Vanilla, Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Elegant Eggplant
Ink: Memento Black
Other: Square Framelits, Fun Fall Framelits, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals

Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!

FallFestGhostBoy…where DID September go?  DANG…it feels like I just blinked and here it is the end of the month!

I thought I’d share a card we did as a make and take at a workshop earlier this month.  As you all know I just LOVE this little ghost…well, this entire set!

For this card, people had the choice to make either this card with the little ghost on it or they could make it as a fall card with just pumpkins it on it.

CAS292I haven’t had a chance to join the Clean and Simple Challenge on SCS for quite awhile.

This week it is a cool ‘State Fair’ photo…things that you would find at the State Fair!  So I thought PUMPKINS!!!

A number of years ago my dad decided to grow some pumpkins and wanted to grow some of those HUGE ones!  So he started to grow them…and grow them…and grow them!!!  Although he didn’t have any ‘award winning’ pumpkins but he did end up growing some between 800 and 900 pounds!  They were really something.

But…here’s my little CAS card and here are the details -

  • Very Vanilla – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
  • Very Vanilla – 3 1/2 x 4 3/4, stamp greeting using Old Olive and the swish in Early Espresso
  • Add the Linen Thread using a Glue Dot
  • Stamp pumpkin using Tangelo Twist and Old Olive, cut out and add to card front using dimensionals.  Stamp leaf using Old Olive, cut out and add to finish it off.
Set(s): Fall Fest, For All Things, Work of Art
Paper: Very Vanilla
Ink: Early Espresso, Old Olive, Tangelo Twist
Other: Linen Thread, Glue Dots, Dimensionals

Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!

  • “solid” Autumn Wood Elements – color using the Pumpkin Pie Blendabilities
