Scentsational Season

Happy Thursday everyone!  It is time once again for another Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.  This week we have a fun color challenge.  Although the colors are very fall, I decided to go with a fun little Christmas card.

The base of the card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 More Mustard.  I took a piece of the Chevron print from the Comfort Cafe, added a large scallop Cajun Craze strip and then a strip of Champagne Glimmer paper.  This is added to the card front.  The panel is the Window Framelitfrom Natural Ivory with the ends cut off.  I punched a star from a piece of Midnight Must and added to the panel using a Gold Brad.  I stamped the gingerbread man in More Mustard and Cajun Craze and cut out with the matching framelits.  I stamped the greeting in Midnight Muse on Very Vanilla and added to strips in Cajun Craze and Midnight Muse and added to the card to finish it off.

Scentsational Seasons

If you remember my card from Wednesday it has a similar ‘look and feel’ to it.  I actually made this one first and like it so much did another one!  The base of the card is Island Indigo.  I took a piece of Early Espresso and rounded the corners on the right side.  I round the corners on a piece of Bashful Blue and added to the Early Espresso panel.  I added the striped print from the Festival Prints pack, added an Early Espresso Scallop edge, added a piece of the Natural 7/8″ Cotton Ribbon.  I made a ‘bow’ (<a href=”https://stampercamper.com/cardpost/making_bows”>click here for my tutorial</a>) using the ribbon an Island Indigo Printed Brad, added to the panel then added the panel to the card front using dimensionals.  I punch a 2 1/2″ circle and added to the card using dimensionals.  The mug is Island Indigo and Early Espresso, the steam Early Espresso, cut out with the Holiday Collection Framelits then added using dimensionals.  I did the banner in Early Espresso on Very Vanilla, cut with the Bitty Banner Framelit and added using dimensionals to finish it off.

Just a couple quick notes on this.  The base of the card if 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 Whisper White.  I took another piece of Whisper White, pierced the design in there, layered onto Cherry Cobbler then to the card front using dimensionals.  I punched out a Whisper White Wide Oval punch and added to the Cherry Cobbler Decorative label punch, using dimensionals then to the card front using dimensionals.  (LOTS and LOTS of dimensionals).  I stamped the greeting using Cherry Cobbler on Whisper White, layered on to a piece of Cherry Cobbler Ribbon Lace, cut into a banner and added to a striped banner from the Snow Festival pack.  This is added to the oval piece.  Next stamped the candy cane twice using Cherry Cobbler, cut with the Holiday Collection framelit then added these using dimensionals to finish things off.

The base of the card is Crumb Cake.  I took a print from the Festival of Prints pack, added a Bashful Blue scallop edge and add to the card front.  Next I took a piece of Early Espresso and added a Very Vanilla strip.  I stamped the must in Island Indigo with some Early Espresso Hot Chocolate in there (I don’t drink coffee…hehehehe) and cut out using the matching framelit.  Next I stamped the steam and cut that out with the framelit, added to the mug then added to the panel using dimensionals.  I made a ‘bow’ (click on tutorials tab above to access this tutorial) using the Natural 7/8″ cotton ribbon (LOVE this stuff) and a designer printed brad, added to the panel then added that to the card front.  I stamped the greeting (from Boot-iful Occasions) using Early Espresso on Bashful Blue, cut into a banner and added to the card front using dimensionals to finish it off.

Scentsational Season

My friend Connie is sharing a project made with the Scentsational Season set so I made a card with the same set to go along with it.  I made the card base using Cherry Cobbler cardstock and the Windows Framelits.  I layered a piece of the Be Of Good Cheer dsp to the card front.  Then I took another piece of the Cherry Cobbler, cut the large frame and the window inside it and added it to the card front using dimensionals.  I stamped the trees using Gumball Green and Early Espresso, cut with the Holiday Collection Framelits, also used the framelits to cut out the Champagne Glitter Stars, added to the trees and added to the card front using dimensionals.  I stamped the greeting using Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green markers on Very Vanilla, cut into a banner and added to the card front.  I finished it off by added some Basic Pearls to the trees for a little decorations.
