BOO

The other reason I made this card is my Connie (Yep…that would be Connie of Create with Connie and Mary) has THE MOST ADORABLE BOO Decoration on her Inkspired Treasures blog AND she has a FREE tutorial for it AND she is offering BLOG CAND!!!  WOW…WHAT A DAY!!!  So don’t be scared off…head to her blog NOW!

So…a little about my card…the base of the card is Basic Black.  I took a piece of Pumpkin Pie and added three prints from the Witches Brew pack and added the panel to the card base using dimensionals.  Next I took a piece of Basic Black and since I needed it longer than the Apothecary Accent framelit, I did each end separately.  I added some Pumpkin Glitter Brads then added the label to the card front using dimensionals.  The B (Pumpkin Pie) is from the Typeset Alphabet Die, the ‘Os’ are 1 1/4″ circles…one is Summer Starfruit and the other is Pumpkin Pie.  The Starfruit one is on dimensionals.  My little bats are made from the Bitty Butterfly punch (check out my video here I show how to make these I think about halfway through the video) and added to the Os.  I added some rhinestones to the bats, the B and the Summer Starfruit dsp piece.

And can you believe it…NO STAMPIN’!

Googly Ghouls

Happy Halloween everyone!  Just wanted to share a cute little card I made for the October Creative Crew on Splitcoast Stampers.  I’m just showing my ‘stepped up’ version as I thought it turned out soooo cute!

The base of the card is Lucky Limeade.  I too a piece of Whisper White, ran it through the Web Embossing Folder, layered it onto Basic Black then to the card front using dimensionals.  I took the oval and circle labels from the Ghoulish Ghouls Designer Kit, turned them over to use the backside and added to the card front.  I took another circle label, colored the edge in Pumpkin Pie, layered onto a 2 3/8″ Basic Black Scallop, added a piece of Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon to a Gold Brad then to the label and added to the card front using dimensionals.  I stamped Boooo on Pumpkin Pie, cut with Bitty Banners then added to the card front.  Finally I stamped the bat using Basic Black on Whisper White, cute out and added using dimensionals.  I MEANT to add some googlie eyes but forgot before taking my pictures.

Ghoulish Ghouls

It’s time again for another SUO challenge and this time the theme is Bags and Boxes.  Well the Holiday Mini made THAT easy with the FUN Ghoulish Ghouls Designer Kit!

SHHHH…don’t tell!  This is also going to be a mnt in some of my workshops this month!  It’s just too cute NOT to share!  Like I said the Ghoulish Ghouls Designer Kit makes this fun and easy!  I took the Glassine bag and ran it through the Spider Web Embossing Folder.  I stamped the mummy onto the oval tag then took three pieces of the Howlstooth and Scaringbone dsp, cut into banners, added behind the oval tag.  I stamped boo onto a piece of Pumpkin Pie, cut with the Bitty Banners Framelit and added to the oval using dimensional.  I punch two hole in the tag/bag then tied the bag closed using a piece of the Pumpkin Pie/Whisper White Baker’s Twine that came with the kit.  I finished it off with a googlie for the mummy’s eye.  What a fun, fun way to give a Halloween treat!
