IM103 – Christmas Gleaming

Happy Monday everyone! This week our inspiration is perfect for Christmas on Wednesday!

Here’s what I did…

Here’s the details…

  • Very Vanilla – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
  • Very Vanilla – 3 5/8 x 4 7/8, stamp greeting in Cherry Cobbler, layer onto Cherry Cobbler 3 3/4 x 5, tie piece of Gold Glimmer Ribbon around top, add to card front
  • Very Vanilla – stamp two large and one small ornament using Versamark, gold emboss, punch out
  • Cherry Cobbler – cut out 3 of the bows from the Detailed Skate Die, trim done, add to top of each ornament, add to card front using dimensionals
  • Add some Gold Glimmer Enamel Dots to finish off

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

And it’s Saturday again! We are still having so much fun with the new Holiday Mini! This week we are featuring winter and snow cards!  I wanted to go very simple with mine…

Here’s the details…

  • Night of Navy – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
  • Night of Navy – 3 3/4 x 5
  • Sparkle Glimmer – cut out 4 trees and snow bank using In the Woods Dies, add to panel, punch out 1″ Circle, add to panel, add panel to card front using dimensionals
  • Whisper White – stamp greeting using Night of Navy, cut out, add to card front using dimensionals

This looks like a winter wonderland to me!

Christmas Gleaming

Happy Thursday everyone!  It’s getting closer!  Hope you all are enjoying the season!  This week…and AWESOME color combo…

I just LOVE these colors together and they are perfect in the Brightly Gleaming DSP.

I absolutely LOVE the holly image from the Christmas Gleaming set…STUNNING!

Here’s the details…

  • Very Vanilla  5 1/2 x 8 1/2 folded
  • Very Vanilla – 3 3/4 x 5, run through the Swirls and Curls Embossing Folder, add to card front
  • Brightly Gleaming DSP – Peacock piece 1 x 4 3/4 and TWO Navy pieces 1/4 x 4 3/8, add to card front
  • Gold Glimmer – 1/4 x 5 1/4, add to card front
  • Very Vanilla – cut out largest stitched oval, stamp greeting using night of Navy, add to card front using dimensionals
  • Very Vanilla  stamp holly using Memento Black – color using Mossy Meadow and  Pretty Peacock Blends, cut out, add to card front
  • Add some Gold Glimmer Enamel Dots to finish off

Hmmm…NO white dsp with red polka dots!  No problem – make your own with the end of a pencil eraser!

Here’s the details…

  • Granny Apple Green – 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 folded
  • Whisper White – 3 3/8 x 4 5/8 – stamp dots in Real Red using the end of a pencil eraser, layer onto Real Red – 3 1/2 x 4 3/4, tie piece of Real Red 1″ Ruched Ribbon, add to card front
  • Whisper White – stamp greeting using Granny Apple Green and Real Red markers, cut out using Stitched Nested Dies, add to card front using dimensionals
  • Whisper White – stamp holly using Memento Black, color using Granny Apple Green and Real Red Blends, cut out, add to card front using dimensionals

Holly Jolly Christmas

And it’s Saturday again! We are still having so much fun with the new Holiday Mini! This week we are featuring Christmas cards with boughs, wreaths, evergreen etc!

I absolutely LOVE the holly image from the Christmas Gleaming set…you just can’t go wrong with it!

  • Shaded Spruce – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
  • Shaded Spruce – 4 x 5 1/4, run through the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder, add to card front
  • Wrapped in Plaid (mostly red plaid) – 2 x 5 1/2, add to card front
  • Gold Glimmer – 1/2 x 5 1/2, add to card front
  • Whisper White – stamp holly multiple times, color using Blend:  Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce, cut out, layer, add to card front
  • Whisper White – stamp greeting in Cherry Cobbler, cut out, add to card front using Dimensionals
  • Gold Glimmer – cut out long from Details Skate Dies, add to card front
  • Add some Gold Glimmer Enamel Dots to finish off

Non-traditional Christmas Colors

And it’s Saturday again! We are still having so much fun with the new Holiday Mini! This week we are featuring Christmas cards made with non-traditional Christmas colors!  I decided to go with nice and BRIGHT!

Here’s the details…

  • Melon Mambo – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
  • Whisper White – 3 5/8 x 4 7/8, run through the Subtle Folder, layer onto Gorgeous Grape 3 3/4 x 5, add to card front
  • Brights DSP – Coastal Cabana print – 3/4 x 3 1/2, add to card front
  • Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo – stamp large ornament using Versamark, white emboss, punch out, add to card front (pink one is added using dimensionals
  • Whisper White – stamp greeting using Gorgeous Grape, cut out, add to card front
  • Gorgeous Grape Striped Ribbon – tie three small knots, add to top of each ornament using Glue Dot
  • Add some Glitter Enamel Dots to finish off

Favorite Christmas DSP

And it’s Saturday again! We are still having so much fun with the new Holiday Mini!  This week we are featuring our favorite Christmas DSP oh my…how does one pick!  I decided to go with the absolutely wonderful Christmastime DSP!

Here’s the details…

  • Whisper White – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
  • Whisper White – 4 x 5 1/4, run through the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder, add to card front
  • Christmastime DSP – red/gold print – 1 1/2, 3 1/2, add to card front
  • Christmastime DSP – green print – 2 x 2 1/4, add to card front
  • Whisper White – stamp greeting using Cherry Cobbler, punch out with 2″ Circle Punch, add to card front
  • Gold Glimmer – 1/4 x 4, cut into banner on both ends, add to card front
  • Whisper White – stamp holly using Memento Black, color using Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobber Blends, cut out, add to card front
  • Add a couple of the Gold Glimmer Enamel Dots to finish off

LOVE how this turned out!  There’s not a lot of DSP on there but it is just enough to really make this a wonderful card!
