CCMC333Happy Thursday everyone!  Well school is starting to wind down for me (YAY!!!).  I have finished my face to face class so now I just have to finish up all my online classes and do my grading.  I like this time of the semester…busy but almost done!

So…with school coming to an end then it is time for some ‘holiday cheer’!  And the Create with Connie and Mary sketch is just perfect for the celebration!  I had so much fun doing this quick and easy card!

Here’s the details…

  • Soft Sky – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
  • Nordic Noel – snowflake print – 1 1/4 x 4 1/4, add to bottom of card front.
  • Nordic Noel – diagonal striped print – 5/8 x 4 1/4, add to card front.
  • Nordic Noel – ornament print – 3 x 5.  Measure in 1/2 in on each side of bottom and trim each side on the diagonal.
  • Whisper White – 2 3/4 x 3/4.  Stamp great using Garden Green, trim into banner.  Trim along right side to match.
  • Garden Green – same measures as above.  Layer behind the ornament print panel and add using dimensionals.
  • Add white Nordic Designer Button under panel.
  • Add Real Red and Soft Sky buttons to finish it off.

And don’t forget to head over to Create with Connie and Mary to check out what the design team did with this delightful challenge!

TSSC344 It’s time for another GREAT sketch for the Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge.  Mary Jo has a simple and just delightful sketch this week with sooooo many possibilities

I’m still in a ‘Christmas Card’ making mode so I just had to go with it.  I love this fun, funky little snowflake that is part of the Snowflake Card Thinlits and thought it would work GREAT with the sketch!

Here’s the details…

  • Lost Lagoon – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
  • Snowflake print (All is Calm dsp) – 3 3/4 x 5.
  • Stamp greeting using Versamark and silver emboss.
  • Whisper white – 3 7/8 x 5 1/8, layer panel onto it and add to card front
  • Silver Glimmer – 3 1/8 x 1 3/8
  • Whisper White – 3 x 1 1/4, layer onto silver glimmer then add to card front using dimensionals
  • Lost Lagoon – cut out three small snowflakes and add to card front
  • Add Basic Rhinestones to center of snowflakes and on card front.

TSSC344Just a PERFECT CAS sketch!  LOVE this kind!  Hope you can join the fun!  Don’t forget to check out the other members of the team and remember go to the Technostamper blog to play along!

Festival of Trees

TSSC339What a fun sketch Mary Jo has for us for the Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge.  I just couldn’t resist using this delightful dsp and the tree!

I am so loving the Festival of Trees set.  There are just so many different looks you can get from this set and then having fun ‘extras’ to add on is perfect.  This is a little different look with this set for me…but it is fun!

Here’s the details –

  • Pear Pizzazz – 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 folded
  • Snowy Print (All is Calm dsp) – 3 1/2 x 4 1/2.  Add to card front.
  • Add striped All is Calm Washi Tape to top and bottom
  • Stamp MERRY from the Cheerful Tags set using Real Red
  • Stamp tree using Pear Pizzazz/ Basic Grey and Lost Lagoon. Punch out.  Stamp star and base using Lost Lagoon and bird using Real Red.  Punch/cut out and add to tree.
  • Add tree to card front using dimensionals
  • Add snowflakes from Frosty Sequins to finish off.

TSSC336It’s time for another Ttechnostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch challenge!

Sometimes when I make cards I have this idea in my head of what I want it to look like.  Sometimes it works out…and sometimes it’s doesn’t.  This was one of those that I fussed and fussed with and just couldn’t get it to work out the way I wanted it to.  I do like it…but the one ‘in my head’ looked so much different from this!

Here’s the details –

  • Real Red – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
  • Garden Green print (Trim the Tree dsp) 3 x 4 3/4.  Add to card base.
  • Whisper White – 3 x 4 3/4.  Stamp one snowflake image in Real Red and the other in Garden Green.
  • Stamp the one image again using Versamark and gold emboss.
  • Add panel to card front.
  • Stamp tag image using Sahara Sand.  Stamp tree line using Garden Green.  Stamp greeting using Real Red
  • Punch out using Note Tag Punch
  • Add gold Satin Ribbon to back.
  • Tie piece of White White Baker’s Twine into Nordic Designer Button and add using glue dot.
  • Add tag to card front using dimensionals.
  • Add Garden Green Candy dots to finish it off.

Believe Banner & BLOG CANDY!

WOOO HOOOO!!!  Preview Week has begun for Create with Connie and Mary Holiday Collection 2014!  Yesterday we shared our AMAZING Guest Designer (check out Create with Connie and Mary to see who they are!) and today I get to share my Preview Project with you (and give away some BLOG CANDY!)

Believe Banner

I have a wonderful fireplace/mantle in my family room and it is such fun to create banners to hang from it!  I wanted to do something different for it this year and just LOVE the Under the Tree Specialty dsp from the Holiday Mini!  So I used my AWESOME Star Framelits, the very cool Larger than Life Alphabet set, the fun Cheerful Tags set and the delightful Cherry Cobbler 1″ Linen Ribbon (and you have to see what I did with the ribbon!) to create my banner!

Here’s a couple close-ups of the letters so you can see some of the details…
