Sea Street

TSSC326Okay…so I’m calling this Sea Street meets Amazing Birthday!  When I saw the sketch for this week’s Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge, I decided to step it up a bit even though it is a very CAS sketch.  I was looking through my catalog to get inspired and saw the Sea Street and Amazing Birthday on the same page and decided they would work together perfectly for Mary Jo’s Sketch!

Here’s the details –

  • Pool Party – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
  • Multicolor print (Maritime dsp) 3 x 4 1/4, layer onto Night of Navy 3 1/8 x 4 3/8 then add to card front using dimensionals
  • Stamp banner in Pool Party on Whisper White, cut out with banner Framelit and add to card front using dimensionals.
  • Wrap a piece of Real Red 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon around card with the ends in the front.
  • Stamp octopus in Real Real Red, cut out and add to the card front.
  • Stamp the circle greeting in both Night of Navy and Real Red.  Punch out the Night of Navy one using the 1 1/4 Circle Punch and the Real Red one with the 3/4″ Circle punch.  Layer the 1 1/4 one on 1 3/8″ Night of Navy Circle and the Real Red using a dimensional.  Add to card front using dimensionals.

CCMC309Oh…it’s time for another Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge!  This week we have a fun sketch challenge for you!

Right now the Create with Connie and Mary Summer Collection 2014 is going on (if you are not a subscriber…don’t worry…it’s not too late!)  Anyway during each week I try to use the same set as I used for my project.  So that said…guess what set I used for my Summer Collection project?  Yep…it was Amazing Birthday!  This is a REALLY cool set and I have had so much fun playing with it!

Here’s the details:

  • Daffodil Delight – 4 1/4 x 11 folded.  Stamp the bottom 2/3 using the circle birthday cake stamp using Daffodil Delight.  Add 1/4 x 4 1/4 Basic Black strip along the top of the stamped area.
  • Sweet Taffy dsp – multi-color triangle print 2 1/2 x 4 1/4.  Layer onto Basic Black.  I cut mine 3 x 4 3/8.  I punched down the one side using the Scallop Edge punch, layered on the dsp then trimmed along the side.  Add to card front using dimensionals.
  • Stamp banner image using Memento Black on Melon Mambo, cut out with Banner framelit and add using dimensionals.
  • Stamp It’s for you circle stamp using Memento Black on Tempting Turquoise, punch out with 1 1/4 Circle Punch, layer onto 1 3/8″ Basic Black Circle then onto Daffodil Delight Label Bracket Punch using dimensionals.  Add this to the card front using dimensionals.
