Over my 14 years as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I have had the opportunity to be on a wide variety of design teams. Each design team is unique and different and each one allows opportunities to grow creatively. I have so enjoyed everyone that I am on or have been on.
A little bit about teams – present and past
Well my longest design team membership would have to Create with Connie and Mary. I joined in January of 2010 (as a guest designer) and then became Connie’s partner in May of 2010. What I love most about this is that our projects are all 3D and occasionally some scrapbooking. Since most of my creative time is cards, it is fun to work on these projects.
I was honored and thrilled (and in total disbelief) when I received the call back in August (2012) I was quite sure they had the ‘wrong’ Mary Brown! My style tends to be CAS (clean and simple) and I always thought of the ‘Dirty Girls’ as really ‘over the top’! I started in September 2012 and was on the team through February 2012. I am still amazed that I was part of this incredibly creative group of women!
I joined the Creative Crew on Splitcoaststampers also in September 2012 and will be on that through December 2012. The Creative Crew does monthly challenges promoting Stampin’ Up! supplies! What wonderful challenges and beautiful gallery created each month!
Splitcoaststampers – Spring 2012 Design Team Member
I will have to say this was the one design team I sooooo wanted to be on and it really took time for me to get there. I LOVE the CAS (clean and simple) style and always tried to play along with the challenges when I could. I still play along when I can! CAS ROCKS!!!
I have been the Featured Stamper and Queen for the Day on Splitcoast Stampers. Others…as I mentioned on my Stampin’ Up! page, I have designed for 3 conventions and 2 leadership events and presented at 2 regional programs for Stampin’ Up! Each and every one of these was an honor to be chosen…and extremely STRESSFUL!!!! But, as with all good challenges…they all made me group in my craft. I have had other Guest Designer spots over my many years as a stamper and if you ever get a chance to do some creative work like this…I highly recommend getting involved!
And as I always say…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
