All About Neutrals

Oh…we have just had a couple GORGEOUS (but extremely windy) days here in Dayton, OH…high in the 70s…LOVE it!  But Monday…high of 39…gotta love this time of year!  LOL!!!  But this time of year also brings visions of the new catalog for demos and finding out what is staying and what is retiring.  I like to start using things from the catalog just in case it is going away and I didn’t play with it enough.  Fortunately the set I picked to work with is STAYING!!!  WOOO HOOO!  Out theme this week is All About Neutrals…just using neutrals on your card.

Is this a great (and extremely simple) card?  I think so!  And even though it is just in white, grey and black, really any color just about can be used for the grey panel for a whole different look!

Here’s the details…

  • Whisper White – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
  • Smoky Slate – 3 3/4 x 5, stamp the branch using Memento Black twice – once from each direction and the sentiment also in Basic Black.  Layer onto Basic Black 3 7/8 x 5 1/8, add to card front using dimensionals.
  • Whisper White – cut out two each of the 3 flowers, add to card front
  • Add some clear Epoxy dots (from the Occasions Mini) and some Basic Rhinestones to the center of the flowers and scattered around to finish off

Isn’t that special?  And speaking of special…we are offering a new special collection – Barn Door Home Decor – the four seasons…
