Oh…I am sooooo excited! Today I am the Guest Designer for the Casology Challenege 279 – GREY. I was so honored when I was invited!
As soon as I saw what the cue card was, I knew I wanted to do a simple, elegant Christmas card.
I love all tree images. If Stampin’ Up! has one, I pretty much buy it. Christmas tree is one of my favorites and this is a really cool one with different layers that you can use if you want. The other thing that I did with this is that there are two different layers of embossing on this – first in white and then in silver.
Here’s the details…
- Smoky Slate – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
- Smoky Slate – 3 3/4 x 5 folded, stamp tree trunk using Memento Black, ground in Smoky Slate, stamp tree part using Versamark and white embossing powder, once cooled, stamp dots using Versamark and silver embossing powder, add to card front using dimensionals.
- Silver Glimmer – cut out bow from Santa Sleigh Thinlets and stars from Card Front Builder, add to card front
- Whisper White – 5/8 x 1 1/4 – stamp greeting using Versmark and silver emboss, cut into banner and add using dimensionals
