Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone! The best thing about this weekend end it means summer is on its way and this week our theme is “Hello Summer”. When I think of summer I think of ice cream and since I LOVE the Cool Treats set I though it would be perfect for this week’s theme. It also give me the chance to use the Tasty Treats dsp one more time.
Doesn’t that look good enough to eat? YUMMY! Here’s the details…
- Pool Party – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
- Pool Party grid print – 1 1/2 x 5 1/2, add to card front
- Chocolate Striped print – 1 1/2 x 4 1/4, add to card front
- Strawberry/cherry print – 3 x 4 1/4, add to card front
- Whisper White – stamp You’re in Pool Party and SWEET in Watermelon Wonder, cut out using Stitched Shapes oval, add to card front using dimensionals
- To make sundae – cut out bowl in Pool Party, ice cream in Whisper White and topping in Chocolate Chip, layer everything and add to card front using dimensionals. Cut out cherry from Watermelon Wonder, color stem using Chocolate Chip marker, add to sundae, cut out spoon from Silver Foil, add to sundae
- Add Basic Enamel heart where the ‘ is in You’re to finish off.

Here it is another Thursday already. I can’t believe it is almost the end of May and that the Memorial Day weekend it really just about here. I’m going to be heading out to see my sister and I’m really looking forward to it.
Sorry I’m late getting this post up for today. Trying to get things together so I can go and visit my sister and the day of the week completely slipped my mind.

Happy May everyone! Well I AM moved in. The painters have left the new house. The boxes are SLOWLY getting unpacked. My craft room is somewhat unpacked…but not totally. I did have enough stuff unpacked so that I could stamp a card for this week’s Create with Connie and Mary Thursday’s Challenge. We have a cool color combo this week – Tip Top Taupe, Mint Macaron, and Old Olive. the Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron will be leaving at the end of this catalog…I will miss these colors. I decided to use a set that is retiring and think it turned out pretty good.
