Happy January Control Freak Blog Hop everyone!

We are once again having fun with all of our new stuff in the Occasions Mini and the Sale-a-bration brochure.  If you are going forward through the hop you arrived here from Amy Koenders’s blog – weren’t her projects fun!

One of the things that first caught my eye in the Occasions Mini (well besides the dragonflies of course) was the Timeless Tags Thinlits…how cool these are!  Today I’m going to share three cards I made.  I decided to pair it with the cool piece of specialty paper in the Affectionately Yours Specialty dsp.

Here’s the details…

• Crumb Cake – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
• Very Vanilla – 3 3/4 x 5, layer onto Basic Black 3 7/8 x 5 1/8, stamp the image using Crumb Cake, add to card front using dimensionals
• Crumb Cake/Copper dsp – 1 1/2 x 3 3/4 add to card front
• Copper Foil and Crumb Cake – 1/2 x 3 3/4, cut into banners, add to card front
• Basic Black – 3/8 x 3 3/4, cut into banner, add to card front
• Basic Back – cut out the solid frame
• Very Vanilla – cut out the solid frame and the butterfly at the same time
• Copper Foil – cut out the butterflies and insert into the Vanilla tag, stamp greeting using Memento Black, add using dimensionals
• Linen thread – fold over 3 times, tie into a bow and add to top of tag

Here’s the details…

• Crumb Cake – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
• Very Vanilla – 3 1/2 x 4 3/4, add Crumb Cake/Copper dsp strip – 1 x 4 3/4 then Copper Foil -1/8 x 4 3/4, stamp greeting and copper emboss
• Very Vanilla – solid over tag
• Crumb Cake and Copper Foil – cut out flower overlay, add the the copper outline to the Very Vanilla tag and add the leaves, stem and center in Crumb Cake
• Linen Thread – fold over three times, tie into a bow and add using glue dot

And the last one…

Here’s the details…

• Crumb Cake – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
• Very Vanilla – 3 3/4 x 5, stamp the little 3 star image using Crumb Cake, later onto Basic Black 3 7/8 x 5 1/8, add to card front using dimensionls
• Crumb Cake/Copper dsp – 1 1/2 x 3 1/2, cut into a banner add to card front using dimensionals,
• Basic Black – cut out solid tag
• Copper Foil, Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla – cut out the tag from each, add the Crumb Cake outline to the Basic Black tag, then ad the copper and black pieces back in, stamp the Very Vanilla piece using Memento Black and the greeting with Versamark and copper emboss – don’t add this yet
• Copper foil – 1/2 x 3 1/2 cut into banner and add
• Basic Black – 1/4 x 3 1/4, cut end on slant and add to copper piece, add the stamped Very Vanilla piece to finish off
