Oh do we have a fun challenge for the Create with Connie and Mary Design Team Saturday Blog Hop – Nothing But Words – using a words stamp as the main focus of our project.
For my project I decided to go a little different direction than probably the other design team members. As soon as I saw this challenge I thought of this card that I made back in February 2014. It was one of my favorites and I thought it would be fun to update it with some of our current stuff.
It’s this fun! I think it really does feature the words…but instead of it being the focal greeting, it is the background! It really is a fun card…
- Whisper White THICK – 4 1/4 x 11 folded, corner round the bottom left.
- Whisper White – 3 3/4 x 5, corner round the bottom left, stamp greeting using Dapper Denim, Mint Macaron, and Perfect Plum. The great thing about using the Photopolymer stamps is that is makes placement so easy!
- Basic Black – cut out umbrella and handle. I want the rod of the umbrella to be a little long so I did split it and extended it on the back. Add to card front using dimensionals.
- Add some Silver Metallic Dots to finish it off.
Now to send this to a friend of mine who has been a bit ‘under the weather!
