Jar of Love

BestFishesIt would be nice if, when I sit down to create, I could create what I have in mind.  But that seldom happens for me.  But then the good part of that is I have extra pieces laying on the top of my desk so that when I want to make a quick card, I just rummage around and find some pieces to use…LOL!!!

This was one of those cards.  I’m been working with the Jar of Love set for my July ‘bonus’ project for Create with Connie and Mary and had this jar left over.  I also had this little strip of envelope dsp and silver glimmer strip all ready to go.  So…this really was a quick an easy project because I really just needed to add the fish and greeting!

Here’s the details…

  • Pool Party – 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 folded
  • Whisper White – add Flirty Flamingo strip – 1/4 x 3 1/4 and Silver Glimmer strip – scant 1/8 x 3 5/8, stamp greeting using Basic Black Archival
  • Stamp jar using Black Black Archival, water using Pool Party and cut out, stamp fish using Peek-a-boo Peach, cut out and add to jar, add jar to card using dimensionals
  • Add some small Basic Rhinestones to finish off
