Welcome everyone to the Create with Connie and Mary Design Team Saturday Blog Hop! This month the design team is going to be saying good-bye to the incolors that will be retiring with this catalog. Each week we will feature a different color. Our fourth color up…Blackberry Bliss. This is such a beautiful RICH color…I will most certainly miss it!
The only thing I don’t like about Blackberry Bliss is that I always have a tough time getting it to look purple in the photo…it always looks more black. But trust me…it’s the pretty blackberry!
Here’s the details…
- Whisper White – 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 folded
- Whisper White – 3 3/4 x 4, run it through the butterfly embossing folder
- Blackberry Bliss – cut out using Lots of Labels (LOVE these framelits), stamp greeting using Versamark and white emboss. Punch 1/8″ holes on each side and thread through piece of Silver 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon. Add label to butterfly panel using dimensionals and secure end of ribbon on back of butterfly panel. Add panel to card front using dimensionals.
- Cut out flower from Whisper White, leaves and center from Silver Glimmer, and flower center from Blackberry Bliss. Layer everything and add to card front using dimensionals.
Oh…I just so love the way this turned out! It is really pretty in real life. I am having fun trying to monochromatic cards with the incolors…one more to go!
