And here is my other project for the Hop. Last year I made wood monogram letters for my friends at convention. I had mine up in my living room all year and took it down during my Open House because the dsp is retired. I decided it was time to make a new one! I got the letter at Michael. Making these are so much fun. Punch out a bunch of hexagons (I cut 6 strips of 1 1/4 x 12 Gold Soiree dsp and punch out the entire strip). Add modgepodge to the letter (doing a section at a time) and add the hexagons. Once dry, trim off access using a craft knife. Add two layers of modgepodge over the top to protect it.
I used the solid gold Washi Tape from the Watercolor Washi along the edge of the Monogram. It was the PERFECT width for finishing off the letter…oh how cool!
