Simple Stems

TSSC303It’s another Monday and another FUN Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge.

I thought I would do something different for the next several Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenges.  You see sometimes, when I have a chance I like to work on several at a time and I actually had time to do that recently.  So I decided that for this one and the next three all would use the Simple Stems set and the Sweet Sorbet (SAB) dsp!

Here’s the details….

  • Crisp Cantaloupe – 4 1/4 x 11 folded
  • Sweet Sorbet – black print – 3 strips 4 1/2 x 3/4, cut into banners and add to card front.
  • Pistachio Pudding – 2 3/4 x 2 3/4, run through the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, tie with a piece of the Crisp Cantaloupe Twine from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pakc and add to card front.
  • Stamp stem using Pistachio Pudding, flower using Crisp Cantaloupe, and greeting using Basic Black on Whisper White.  Cut out using the 2 3/8″ Circle Framelit and add to card front using dimensionals
  • Add one Basic Rhinestone to finish it off.

TSSC303Isn’t this just a FUN sketch?  I thought so…so many possibilities with it!  Don’t forget to check out the other members of the team and remember go to the Technostamper blog to play along!

Simple Stems

CAS261Blushing Bride!  I was soooo happy to see this color again when Stampin’ Up! did the color adjustment but then I sort of forgot about it.  The CAS challenge this week is that your card base has to be a color…no neutral.  So what did I pick?  You guessed it…Blushing Bride.

Lately I seem to be ‘stuck’ on Simple Stems.  LOVE this set!  I always tend to go for the solid images anyway and this set is just so much fun to work with.  OH…and guess what?  It was ‘sitting on top of my desk’ so things came together VERY quickly.

Here’s the details…

  • Blushing Bride – 4 1/4 x 11 folded.  Run through Decorative Dots (SAB) Embossing Folder.  Corner round bottom left using Envelope Punch Board (LOVE that corner rounder!).
  • Blushing Bride – 3 1/2 x 4 3/4, corner round bottom left using Envelope Punch Board and sponge around edge using Blushing Bride.
  • Stamp greeting using Versamark and white emboss.  Light sponge Blushing Bride over it.  Add panel to card front using dimensionals.
  • Stamp flower and stem using Versamark on Blushing Bride, white emboss, sponge Blushing Bride over it.  Cut it out and add to card front using dimensionals.
  • Add some Basic Pearls to finish it off.
Set(s): Simple Stems, Simply Celebrate
Paper: Blushing Bride
Ink: Versamark
Other: White Embossing Powder, Decorative Dots (SAB) Embossing Folder, Basic Pearls, Envelope Punch Board (or Corner Rounder), Dimensionals

Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
