Festive Flurry

CAS241Today for the CAS challenge, we were to CASE one of the CAS alumni.  I had such a tough time deciding but ended up picking this card.  I kept the general layout but changed from a flower to the snowflake then changed the colors.  I also added some more elements to it.

The base of the card is Whisper White.  I took another piece of Whisper White and stamped the largest snowflake in Versamark and embossed with Pool Party embossing powder then the smallest snowflakes in versamark and Silver embossing powder.  This is layered onto Pool Party, wrapped some silver 1/8″ ribbon around it then added to the card base using dimensionals.  I stamped Peace on Earth in versamark and Pool Pary embossing powder, punched with the wide oval punch, layered on a silver foil (hard to see on the photo) decorative label punch.  This is layered onto the card front using dimensionals.

WinterBadgeOh…we are gearing up for our Winter Collection featuring the holiday of December!  It’s beginning to look a little like Christmas!  Connie and I are starting the Early Bird signups for our Create with Connie and Mary Winter Collection 2013.  It’s all about Christmas and Winter projects!  It’s not too early to start planning those gifts and decorating and we have lots of GREAT ideas to help you!  See more information over on Create with Connie and Mary!
