One of the new products I really like in the mini is the Expression Thinlits. They can be a little ‘finicky’ when you first start using them until you figure out the right ‘sandwich’ for your machine. Once you do…these are just SOOOO much fun! Pair the thankful expression with some of the Sweater Weather dsp and you have a GREAT fall card! I also used the diagonal striped embossing folder from the mini on this!
Although when looking at this, it is definitely a CAS (clean and simple) card, it honestly took me much longer to make then my first one! Why you ask? Well, I decided that for idea to work right, I had to ‘add back in’ all those extra little pieces (at least most of them) AND since the panel is up on dimensionals…yep, all those little pieces had to be too. Okay…a little NUTS on my part but I just LOVE the look! What you can’t see from the picture is that I took the piece of Tangerine Tango cardstock that I used as my ‘behind’ panel and ran it through the script folder. It gives it just a little extra dimension! And the Candy Dots are just that little extra something. BOTH cards have a finished size of 6 1/2 x 3 1/4. Now to get my NEW envelope maker so I have really cool envelopes for these!
