Stippled Blossoms

SUOWeddingOh…it’s Tuesday and it’s time for another SUO challenge.  This time the challenge is weddings.  Hmmm…that is a tough one for me but I dug around and found I had this Mr & Mrs stamp (first time it’s seen ink!) and the pretty rose!  So put it together and I think I got me a wedding card!

The base of the card is Very Vanilla.  i took another piece of Very Vanilla, ran it through the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder and added to the card front.  Next I took another piece of Very Vanilla, stamped Mr. & Mrs in Baked Brown Sugar and then the & in Crisp Cantaloupe.  The & is cut out and added using dimensionals.  I added a piece of of Pistachio Pudding behind the panel then added to the card front.  I stamped the solid flower in Crisp Cantaloupe and the stipple in Cajun Craze.  The solid leaves is Pistachio Pudding and the Stipple Wild Wasabi.  These are cut out and added to the card front using dimensionals to finish it off.

So make sure you join us over at the SUO challenge!  And check out what the other design team has been up to!

  1. What a beautiful use for the Mr. & Mrs. stamp set – especially the way that you highlighted the &. I love the colors that you chose, too! And of course the embossing makes this a perfectly gorgeous card!

  2. Mary, I LOVE this! The Delicate Designs embossing is so pretty! I have to tell you that I went and ordered Stippled Blossoms after seeing this. I absolutely love your color choices too! Beau-ti-ful!
