Moving Forward

SUOIt’s time for another SUO challenge!  Can you believe that we are getting to the end of May, which is the end of the current SU catalog?  I know…hard to believe!  But I am SOOOO ready for NEW stuff!  I {heart} NEW STUFF!!!  But the SUO challenge is to say goodbye to a favorite retiring set.

I REALLY like the Ronald McDonald House Charity set this year and didn’t use it new enough!  I’ve been featuring it this month because I just think it’s one of those ‘must have’ sets!  So today for the challenge I decided to use it along with my three favorite prints from the International Bazaar dsp pack!

The base of the card is Pool Party.  I too a piece of Whisper White, ran it through the Clouds embossing folder (oh I can NOT believe this didn’t make it into the catalog!), layered onto Pacific Point.  Next I cut three banners from the prints, added to the panel, wrapped some Calypso Coral Baker’s Twine around it and added the panel to the card front.  I stamped the image using Pacific point and Pool Party on Whisper white, cut out using the Labels Framelit and added to the card front using dimensionals.  I stamped the blimp one more time using Calypso Coral, cut out and added using dimensionals.

So…check out the other retiring sets that the design team is featuring for the SUO challenge and join the fun!

I love the Moving Forward stamp set too! I see you used the same DSP as I did….it reminds me that we have such a GREAT variety within each pack of paper.
    Thanks for sharing

  2. Oh, I agree!! I have this set as well and it surely did not see enough ink!! It can work for so many occasions and I love the colors and DSP you have chosen to use in this card!! It is truly a honor to be able to design along with you at SUO Challenges 🙂
