My Friend

TSSC263Time for another Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge.  I have not used this set in FOREVER!  I was SURE it was going to be on the retirement list this year but I had that one wrong!  But I will say…I do like it on this card!

The base of the card is Certainly Celery.  I took a piece of the striped Certainly Celery, cut into a banner, sponged in Certainly Celery and added to the card front.  Next I stamped the leaf image using Certainly Celery on Whisper White, then the hello using Early Espresso and added the banner to the card front.  I took the Soft Suede print from the Comfort Cafe pack, cut into a banner, sponged with Soft Suede and added to the card front.  I used one of the Silver Designer Buttons, tied a piece of the Early Espresso Baker’s Twine and added to the card front to finish it off.

TSSC263So that’s my card and you can see…I really did follow the sketch!  Why not join the fun?  We’d love to have you play along!  Don’t forget to check out the other members of the team and remember go to the Technostamper blog to play along!

  2. Mary, this is really pretty, I love Certainly Celery with Early Espresso. I too thought this one was going to be on the retired list. I think this is my favorite sample with this card so far of all the ones I have seen. Great job! Thanks so much for being on my DT!

  3. So lovely Mary totally, love the colour combination. Would never have paired these together but works so well.T
