A Round Array

TSSC261Happy Monday!  That mean Happy Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge.

Today I made a quick little card with some of the ‘new stuff’ coming out!  The base of the card is Pool Party and I sponged some Crumb Cake on it to make it fit in with the dsp.  The patterned paper is all from the This and That Epic Day pack.  I took a Calypso Coral piece, rounded the corners and added using dimensionals.  I did the multicolored chevron, layered on Basic Grey than added to the card front.  I punched the flower with the Blossoms Punch, the leaves are the same punch and the back of the chevron print, the 1″ Circle is the smae dsp as the panel then I stamped the center greeting using Basic Grey on Pool Party, punched with the 7/8″ circle punch and added using dimensionals.  The flower is added using dimensionals.  I finished it off with some pearls on the panel and some small on on the flower center.

TSSC261So here’s the sketch for today.  Why not join the fun?  We’d love to have you play along!  Don’t forget to check out the other members of the team and remember go to the Technostamper blog to play along!

Sent with Love

SWL4And here’s a FINAL Sent with Love card!  Oh…I will so miss this fun little set!  I can’t believe the 30th is the last day for it!

Some quick details…the base of the card is Calypso Coral.  I took the plane print, layered on Whisper White then wrapped some Calypso Coral Baker’s Twine around it  and added the layer to the card front.  I stamped the plane ‘trail’ using Island Indigo on Whisper White, punched with the 1 3/4″ Circle punch and layered on a 2 3/8″ Real Red Scallop Circle then to the card front.  I stamped the dashes using Island Indigo on the back side of a tag and added it using dimensions.  The TO: YOU is a tag from the dsp that I cut out and added using dimensionals.  I stamped the Special Delivery arrow using Real Red, cut our and added using dimensionals.  Finally I punched a Real Red heart and added that using dimensionals and stamped the plane using Calypso Coral, cut out and added using dimensionals.

SWL6Yep…still another Sent with Love card!  You can’t get this after the 30th so I thought I would share as many as I could!  Oh this one is so quick and easy!

The base of the card is Island Indigo.  I took a piece of Whisper White, ran it through the Clouds Embossing folder and layered on a piece of Calypso Coral.  I added a strip of the Island Indigo arrow print along the bottom.  Next I took a strip of Whisper White and stamped the on diagonal slash in Island Indigo then the other slash in Pool Party, added to the panel and wrapped some Calypso Coral Baker’s Twine around it.  The panel was added to the card front.  I added the Calypso piece and the ‘the journey…’ arrow but cut from the dsp print.  Yep…that is all there is to this card.  I thought this would be a a perfect card to give to someone going off to college!

Sweet Essentials

SUOBigShotFramelits and sizzlits and dies OH MY!  It’s time again for another SUO challenge challenge and the theme this time is Anything Sizzix!  So I decided to make a sweet little card just for you!

The base of the card is Whisper White 4 1/4 x 4 1/4.  I took another piece of Whisper White and added to the card base using dimensionals.  Next I cut a lattice out of Whisper White and yep…added THAT using dimensionals.  Have I mentioned yet just how EXCITED I am about the color refresh?  I am just SOOOO incredibly excited…so much so I dug out some of my retired stuff that is coming back to use for my card today.  My flower is from the Blossom Party Die.  And I made three of them.  The yellow ones are Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry…yep…they go BEAUTIFULLY together.  And the blue one?  Well that is Pool Party and Bermuda Bay!  Excited?  I am!  Oh…and now for the leaves…that the little Leaf sizzlit from the soon to return…Pear Pizzazz!  Life is GOOD!!  The centers of the flowers are Early Espresso.  I stamp the greeting in Early Espresso and Bermuda Bay and used the large Bitty Banner (you have to cut one side at a time) Framelit than added using dimensionals to finish off.  So yo use…framelits and sizzlits and dies…OH MY…was true!

So why don’t you join us?  I’m SURE you have some Big Shot stuff just waiting to be used!

Everything Eleanor

TSSC260It’s another Monday and another Techostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge!

As we get closer to the end of the catalog I like to try to set that I have left neglected somewhat.  This is definitely one of the those.  It’s a nice set but not really my style!

The base of the card is Pink Pirouette.  I stamped the large flourishy thing using Basic Grey.  I made a bow using the duo pink ribbon and an incolor printed brad that I embossed white (see tutorial tab above for like to tutorials how I made my bow.  I added this to a strip of the basic grey dsp from the Twitterpatted dsp and added to the card front.  I stamped the panel using Sahara Sand then stamped the greeting using Basic Grey.  I cute this out and added using dimensionals.  I stamped the flowers using Basic Black on Pink Pirouette and Pretty in Pink card stock, cut out and added to the card front.

TSSC260So here’s the sketch for today.  Why not join the fun?  We’d love to have you play along!  Don’t forget to check out the other members of the team and remember go to the Technostamper blog to play along!

Flowering Flourishes Favor

Wk4 FavorWOW…here it is the very end of Create with Connie and Mary Card “Create”tions!  What a FABULOUS edition and such great cards!  But remember…you have to be a subscriber to see them.

Here is my last favor for the edition.  It really is not that difficult!  Take a piece of the First Edition dsp and run through the Fancy favor die.  Stamp the medium image  from the Flowering Flourishes set using Always Artichoke.  Put the box together.  Take a piece of Always Artichoke dsp, cut into a banner, add over the top of the box and use a brad to hold the box shut.  I cut the frame from the Lots of Tags Sizzlit using Crumb Cake and sponged the edges using Crumb Cake.  I stamped the image using Always Artichoke on Very Vanilla, punched with the wide oval punch and added to the frame.  I did the flower using the Boho Blossom punch in Soft Suede, Always Artichoke prints (since it was sitting on my desk!), and Crumb Cake.  The center is the little button brad from the Vintage Trinkets.  The flower is added using glue dot then the piece is added using dimensionals.  I stamped the thank you using Soft Suede on Very Vanilla, punched with the medium oval punch, sponged in Always Artichoke then added using dimensionals.

Check out what the design team did for their last favor!  LOVE ‘EM!!!

April Tour de Freaks

freakwelcome

Welcome to the April Tour de Freaks Blog Hop!  It seems like FOREVER since I’ve been able to join in one.  I’m sooo happy to be here!

If you are going forward through the hop, you arrive here from the very talented Patty Bennett and her Patty’s Stamping Spot blog.  This month our theme is Birthdays!  How fun is THAT for a theme.  I have two projects to share with you…a card and a gift card holder.

HopCardWhen I do my projects for the hop I like them to coordinate so for today’s project I decided to use the You Rule set from the Spring Mini.  I think this is easily a birthday set!

The base of the card is Pink Pirouette.  I took another piece of Pink Pirouette, ran it through the Strips embossing folder and added to the card.  Then I used a piece of the Delicate Details Lace Tape and added to the card front.  I took a piece of the soon to be retired Pretty in Pink dotted dsp, added a Whisper White panel, made banners using the large Bitty Banner framelit and Whisper White, Primrose Petal and Brushed Silber and added to the panel.  I added another strip of the Brushed Silver.  I stamped the crown twice (and I did the same thing for my card and my 3D item)…once in Primrose Petals and once in Versamark and silver Embossed.  I cut out the piece from the silver crown and added to the Primrose Petals one.  I added some Jumbo Rhinestones and Basic ones and added to the card front using dimensionals.  Finally I stamped Queen for a day in versamark, silver embossed, cut into a banner and added to the card front using dimensionals.

AprilHop3Dclosed1For my 3D item I decided to make a gift card holder.  This is a very simple project to make.  It is a simple matchbook style.  I took a piece of the Pretty in Pink dotted dsp (2 1/2 x 8 1/2) and scored at 3/4, 4 3/4 and 5.  I made the ‘holder’ from the Scallop envelop die (see open picture below) using Whisper White.  I ran part of the envelop through the dotted embossing folder before putting together.  I left the ‘side’ open instead of the top.  This is added to the inside bottom ‘flap’ using silver brads.  That is the basic construction of the matchbook gift card holder…now to decorate.

Hop3DopenTo decorate mine I added a piece of the Delicate Designs Lace Tap along the side of the front.  I did the crown in the same way that I did for the card (read above) and did the Queen for a Day banner exactly the same too!

How fun it would be to add a gift card to the person’s favorite spa so for their birthday they really could feel like ‘Queen for a Day’!

So that’s my projects for you!  You are in for a treat now as you ‘hop’ on over to Cindy Elam’s Hearts Delight Cards blog.  So thanks for stopping by but time to head on your way!
