New Years

Oh…we have ALMOST made it through this year.  DANG…it was a rough one!  I will be happy to see 2013!  To help us count down to the new year I did this fun card with the color challenge on Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.  The challenge is to use Pool Party, Whisper White and Silver!

The base of the card is Whisper White and I ran it through the Chevron Embossing Folder,  Next I took another piece of Whisper White and embossed happy new year (from the single New Years stamp) in silver.  I stamped the ‘count down’ images in Pool Party, cut out and added using dimensionals.  I added some silver glimmer stars (Merry Mini punch pack) and Basic Rhinestones.  I added a strip of Pool Party along the top and used the largest Bitty Banner framelit to cut banners from Pool Party, Silver Glimmer, and the Pool Party print in the Comfort Cafe dsp pack.  These were added behind the panel then the panel was added using dimensionals.

Set(s): New Years
Paper: Whisper White, Pool Party, Silver Glimmer
Ink: Pool Party, Versamark
Other: Silver Embossing Powder, Chevron Embossing Folder, Bitty Banner Framelit Merry Mini Punch Pack, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals

Don’t forget to check out the wonderful creations by the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Design Team!  Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
