Evergreen

Now nothing is better than a glittery Christmas card and the SUO Challenge this time is do glitter!  Now when it comes to glitter I DO NOT LIKE THE LOOSE STUFF!!!  It drives me NUTS as it gets into EVERYTHING!!!  But I do LOVE the Glimmer Paper and I featured that on this pretty Christmas card (and speaking of Glimmer…come back Thursday for another cool glimmer card!)

So the base of the card is Whisper White.  I took another piece of Whisper White, ran it through the Lacey Brocade Embossing Folder and added to the card front.  Next I added two strips of the Silver Glimmer Paper.  I took a piece of Whisper White, ran the top part through the Apothecary Accents Framelit, stamped the loopy tree from Evergreen and Silver Embossed, added a Silver Glimmer Star (Merry Mini Punch Pack), then added a ‘bow’ (click on my tutorial link above) made from Whisper White Organza Ribbon and a Silver Glimmer Brad.   The panel is added to the card front using dimensionals.  I stamped the greeting in versamark, silver embossed, punched with the Modern Label Punch and added to the card front using dimensionals to finish it off.

Set(s): Evergreen, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Whisper White, Silver Glimmer
Ink: Versaark
Other: Silver Embossing Powder, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Whisper White Organza Ribbon, Basic Glimmer Brad, Modern Label Punch, Lacey Brocade Embossing Folder, Dimensionals

So visit the SUO Challenge site and check out what the other design team members did!  Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!

  1. Oh Mary…so glad to know I am not the only one. I find that the Glimmer Papers have changed my thoughts about glitter since I am NOT a glitter girl. The mess drives me nuts! This card is sparkly perfection! Love the silver and the shine!

  2. Your card is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
