Make a Mitten

Happy Thursday!  Yep….it’s time again for the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge and this week…it’s a special one!  Why is it special…well, first it’s a sketch and we know you LOVE sketch challenges!  Second besides the sketch, it is to make a ‘shaped’ card!  And yep…there’s a third one…this one challenge will last for 2 WEEKS!!!  Why two weeks?  Because next Thursday is Thanksgiving and we are so thankful for our design team, we are giving them the week off.  So you have 2 weeks for this fun sketch!

My card is actually pretty easy.  The base of the card is Cherry Cobbler with the Oval Accents Clear Die.  The base is folded then I put a full one on the top so it looks complete.  I added the fun snowflake print from Be of Good Cheer and two Gumball Green/Very Vanilla dotted strips form the same pack.  Next is a Cherry Cobbler 1 3/4″ Scallop Circle with a 1 3/8″ Very Vanilla Circle on it this is added using dimensionals.  I stamped the double mitten in Gumball Green, then did the single mitten twice in Cherry Cobbler so I could punch things out and add to give more details..  These are added to the circle (the top one with a dimensional).  Finally Happy Christmas is stamped using Basic Black on Gumball Green, cut into a banner and added to the card front to finish it off.
