Everything Eleanor

The base of the card is Whisper White.  I took a piece of Pink Pirouette ran it through the NEW Lacy Brocade Embossing folder, I did the border using the Finishing Touches Edgelits with Sahara Sand, added it behind the Pink Pirouette panel, wrapped a piece of Basic Grey Stitched Grosgrain ribbon then added to the card front.  I stamped the greeting using Basic Grey.  Next I stamped the panel image using Sahara Sand, stamped the flourishy image in Basic Grey, cut out and added to the card front using dimensionals.  I stamped the flowers using Basic Grey on Pink Pirouette then added highlights using the Primrose Petals marker.  These are cut out and added to the card front using dimensionals.  I finished it off by added some Basic Rhinestones to the panel and the middle of the one flower.

Moving Forward

Well…I told you I REALLY like these three prints and I thought they would be fun for a little boat card!  The base of the card is Pool Party.  Next I added the three prints to a piece of Whisper White, ran a strip of Island Indigo through the Woodgrain Embossing Folder, added it to the Whisper White panel, added a Calypso Coral Printed Brad, then added this panel to the card base.  I punched out a Calypso Coral 1 3/4″ Scallop Circle and added a 1 3/8″ Whisper White circle to the center.  This is added to the card front using dimensionals.  I did the boat in Island Indigo, Calypso Coral and Pool Party, cut out and added using dimensionals.  I used the small scallop framelit on Pool Party (well the ‘negative’ part of the scallop), stamped the greeting in Island Indigo and added to the boat.

Serene Silhouettes

The base of the card is Daffodil Delight and I ran it through the Chevron Folder.  I took two strips of Basic Grey and used the scallop piercing template to add a little interest to them then added to the card front.  I took the Daffodil Delight Flag dsp from Summer Smooches, sponged the edges using Basic Grey and added using dimensionals.  Next I stamped the silhouette using Basic Grey, then used a dauber to added some Daffodil Delight to the ‘flowers’ in the image then added that using dimensionals.  To finish it off, I stamped the greeting using Basic Grey on Daffodil Delight, cut out with the Bitty Banners Framelits and added that using dimensionals.

The colors for the challenge were Raspberry Ripple, Old Olive and Midnight Muse.  The base of the card is Whisper White. I used one of the images from the piercing kit in the Holiday Mini to create the bottom pierced frame then added the Whisper White Apothecary Accents framelit image using dimensionals.  I stamped the image in the three colors, cut out and added using dimensionals.  I inked the greeting in the Raspberry Ripple and Midnight Muse, cut out with the Bitty Banner framelit and added and Old Olive framelit behind it.  This is added using dimensionals to finish it

You’re Amazing

I love this set of 3 prints that you can find in the International Bazaar dsp paper pack.  I cut out 3 of each print using the Apothecary Accents framelits.  From the three pieces I could get all the pieces I needed to make the panel by cutting and piecing together.  I did this on a piece of Whisper White then added Pacific Point strips along each side and then a Calypso Coral (I like that better with this print then the Tangerine Tango)  scallop edge (large scallop edgelit) then added this strip to a Pool Party base.  I inked the stamp from You’re Amazing (got it free from convention) using Calypso Coral and Pacific Point markers, cut out with the Apothecary Accents framelit, added some Pool Party Printed Designer Brads to each side then added to the card front using dimensionals to finish it off!

From the Heart

And not only can’t you go wrong with blue and white…you can’t go wrong with the Hello Doily stamp!  This one came together so quickly…hmmm…I think that is one of the parts of CAS!  The base of the card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 Whisper White.  I took another piece of Whisper White, stamped the doily in Midnight Muse, quickly added clear embossing powder and embossed the image.  I added this layer to the card front using dimensionals.  I stamped the greeting (from From the Heart) also in Midnight Muse and embossed, cut with the Apothecary Accents Framelits and added using dimensionals.  Finally the flower is made using the Boho Blossoms punch and Midnight Muse and Whisper White flower and a Navy Brad and added the flower using a glue dot.

Pleasant Poppies

You all know that watercoloring isn’t something I like to do…probably because I’m not very good at it!  For this I used ink in the lid of the stamp pad and a blender pen.  It worked.  Boy…at times like this wish we still had that wonderful Poppy Parade ink!  For this though I stamped the image using StazOn Jet Black on watercolor paper then colored with Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive.  I used the Large Scallop Edgelit to cut out the Old Olive scallops for above and below the image and wrapped a piece of Basic Black 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon around the bottom then added to the Cherry Cobbler card base.  I stamped the greeting using Basic Black on watercolor paper, cut out with the Windows Framelit, added a gold brad to the top then added the greeting using dimensionals.

Perfecty Preserved

I love black and red paired up with a neutral…in this case the Sahara Sand.  As I was looking at the colors I wanted to do something just a little different with it and that is where I started looking through my Holiday Mini and thought….hmmm…those would be some good colors for an apple!  No really… I did think that!  So let’s take a look at all the fun stuff I used on this…

The base of the card is Real Red 4 1/4 x 4 1/4.  I took a piece of Whisper White, ran it through the Stripes Embossing Folder, layered onto Basic Black.  I ran a piece of Sahara Sand through the Finishing Touches Lace Edgelit, added a piece of Basic Black behind it and added to the panel,  wrapped a piece of Real Red 1/4″ Stitched Grosgrain around it, then added this to the panel.  The panel is added to the card front using dimensionals.  I used the Window Framelits on a piece of Whisper White, then used the Festive Paper Piercing pack to pierce around the inside.  This is added to the card front using dimensionals.  I stamped the apple using Real Red and Basic Black, used the Cannery Set to cut out, then did the stem in Sahara Sand and used the Cannery Framelits to cut that out to.  I added those to the card front using dimensionals.  Finally I stamped the greeting using Basic Black and Real Red on Sahara Sand, cut out with the Bitty Banners Framelit and added this to the card front.
