You’re My Type

Aren’t these pretty colors together?  I really like them too!  Poppy and grey are always nice together and that little bit of yellow is just what is needed to set it all off!  You know…it’s hard to believe that the one set of incolors are getting ready to retire…SAY IT AIN’T SO!!!!  I will say…I am going to miss these colors.  It has been wonderful having them around for two years instead of just one!

The base of the card is Poppy Parade.  I took two pieces of the Basic Grey print from the Twitterpated dsp pack and added to the card base.  I made a So Saffron tag from the Two Tags die and ran through the Striped Embossing Folder.  I made a bow (click here for my tutorial) using Basic Grey 5/8″ Satin Ribbon and an Everyday Enchantment brad and added this to the tag.  The tag is added to the card front using dimensionals.  I took a piece of Poppy Parade dsp, added a Basic Grey Ribbon Lace piece behind it and added it to the tag.  I stamped the typewriter using Basic Grey and cut out.  I stamped the top part on the Poppy Parade dsp, cut out and added to the typewriter.  I stamped the greeting on Whisper White using Basic Grey, cut into a banner and added to the typewriter using a So Saffron flower and red brad.  The typewriter is then added to the tag using dimensionals.
