Often when you see a stamps, you tend to look at the stamps in a 'pre-conceived' way. That is true of this set "Wanted". I know when I got this set to make displays for Stampin' Up!'s convention my first thought was 'OMG...they gave me a horsey set and I don't do horseys!" But as you saw with the last two posted this makes a very elegant Christmas set!

Wanted Card 2

This was the last card I designed for the displays and I must say I do like how different it turned out. I was surprised to see it displayed on the boards because the colors were so different from what everyone else did with the set. The colors are Pretty in Pink, Night of Navy and Whisper White. It's a little difficult to see but I stamped the paisley stamp on the Night of Navy using the Night of Navy ink. I can't remember where the circle came from but it is one of the retired shape set (Simply Circles or Simple Shapes). I used the Soft Subtle brads for the flower centers. Ribbons are Navy, Lt Pink and Pink Gingham. The swirly edge was created with the wrought iron punch that is now discontinued.

I really liked this card when I finished with it because it definitely is 'out-of-the-box' for this set as it turned out to be a very feminine card from what might be considered a masculine set. So don't be afraid of using stamps differently then what they might have been designed for...you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Happy stampin'! -----
