Time For You - Occasions Mini Sneak Peek

Lisa and I had another cyber 'play date' yesterday and I was able to finish 3 challenge cards. This is the first one that I did. We decided to use Beate's weekend sketch challenge. She had posted a really cute sample using her sketch and I pretty much used that sample as my inspiration. This uses some of the stuff from the new Occasions Mini. The card base is Wild Wasabi. I made the scallop along the top out of a piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock and the corner rounder. The designer paper is called Afternoon Tea and is in the Occasions mini. (It is designed to go with the set called "Live Your Dreams" - VERY nice set but I thought I'd like it with this.) The set is Time For You. It's a little set that has a clock image, this bench image, a bicycle and then the greeting. I colored the image with Wild Wasabi and Groovy Guava and layered onto a piece of Chocolate Chip. The ribbons on the side are taffeta Chocolate Chip and the ribbon on the bottom is Groovy Guava double-stitched ribbon. There's a little paper piercing along the top of the designer paper.
This was really a quick and easy card and I had fun playing with some of my new stuff! Stay tuned tomorrow for another card from our play time. Happy Stampin'!
