My friends Jackie and Jo have been harassing me about my total dislike of Glorious Green. Now come on...I still have my ORIGINAL pack of this stuff and I use it ALL the time to make patterns because the color is so bad that it sticks out like sore thumb on my desk (no REALLY!!!). So anyway my friends (at least that is what they CALL themselves) challenged me to use Glorious Green. Well it didn't stop there...I also mentioned that I don't particularly like Going Grey and so they added THAT to the challenge too. Come on...give a girl a break!

Challenge

So here's my card. The colors are Glorious Green, Going Grey and Basic Grey. I think our new Basic Grey can make ANYTHING look good! HONEST!!! I got Bugs and Kisses awhile back because I thought it would be a cute 'kids' set. Since I was going in a new direction here, I decided to 'dust off' this set and use it. The scallop punch is so much fun to use and then I used the 1/16" punch to make the holes around it. I decided that very vanilla cardstock would look better then white with this color combination and I do like it. There some dimensionals in there to bump up the grasshopper. Oh...the ants were stamped on the Glorious Green using Going Grey ink. One last thing...it's a 3x3 card.

So what do you think? Honestly I didn't think I would like this at all and I must admit (head hanging in shame now) that I do actually like this combo. The greys work so nicely to tone down the green to make it workable. A big thanks to Jackie and Jo for making me do this!

Happy stampin'! -----
