Live Your Dreams - another challenge

Here is another card from my stamping time with Lisa and Connie. We really do enjoy doing sketch challenges...they give you a good structure to get started on a project. So we started out with this sketch. The only other condition we put on our challenge was that we HAD to use Designer Series paper.
I hadn't used my Afternoon Tea paper for awhile so I decided to pick that as mine. Although the sketch works off a rectangle for the main image, I wanted an oval so out came my coluzzle (I don't know why I bother putting that thing away I use it so much any more!). The image was inked with markers - Really Rust, Chocolate Chip and Garden Green. These colors really compliment the paper but I wanted it a little lighter so I stamped the image off once before stamping on my paper. The sentiment is from the Absolutely Fabulous set. The base of the card is Blush Blossom - now THERE'S a color I hardly ever use! I wanted a ribbon on mine so I added both the Groovy Guava Double-Stitched ribbon and the Wild Wasabi Double-Stitched ribbon. I finished it off with some brads from the vintage brads set.
Both Lisa and Connie have posted their versions of the sketch so if you would like to see just how differently our turned out, you can see Lisa's card here and Connie's card here.
Happy Stampin'!

This is so nice, Mary! I especially love the way you angled the brads around the oval. Nice touch!
