So on Saturday I worked on my taxes some more and then Lisa and I met up online to do another challenge. Our friend (and swap buddy) Connie joined us this time. (The women NEEDS a laptop!) Anyway, we all got on chat and decided on this sketch and that we had to use a designer paper that has been sitting in our stash neglected for at least a month or two.

I picked Le Jardin paper. I REALLY like the colors of this paper because they feel like spring to me. Yellow and blue has always been a favorite of mine. When I pulled out the paper to start working on the sketch I grabbed the 'batik' looking piece and realized that it reminds me of the flowers in Live Your Dream. (okay..so it's not much of a stretch to get paper to remind me of that stamp...thank goodness it wasn't another 'no flower' challenge!) So I pulled the colors from this piece using So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Brocade Blue, and Mellow Moss. Delightful is from the set "It's All Good" (a great little set!). I used a piece of hodgepodge hardware from the Antique Brass kit (trying to let go of my hoarding behavior) and tied some Ivory 5/8" grosgrain ribbon on there. I think most this is self explanatory.

Happy Stampin'!
