Last Text & Texture Card…

This is the last of the cards I made for Leadership and I also made this for a swap I was in with other display makers. I like this card because it is so colorful and was inspired by the East Coast paper. Once again I paired up the Text and Texture with the Fundamental Phrases set. The Word Window punch is perfect for using with this word set. Now I know you will be surprised about this but I just used markers (Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, More Mustard) on the words and not my craft spots and dry embossing. The Real Red cardstock behind the You & Me is stamped with the opposite (Texture) side of the block. I know people have said they don't like the texture side because 'words don't go together', 'too small to do anything with'...things like that. But what you need to remember is that the words are to create texture not something that you sit there and read. In the scan it almost makes the cardstock look like it has been run through the crimper! (Just noticed that.) Really the only other thing on there is some Wild Wasabi Double-Stitched ribbon!
So now stayed tuned for some other things I've done with this set including my very favorite scrapbook page I EVER made! (Teasing you here!)
Happy Stampin'!
