A while back the Blogger's Challenge group had the weekly challenge be a triangle box. There are all different kinds of triangle boxes out there but I had done this very simple one before and it is quick and easy. I had just received the Independence Day set and decided to go a little patriotic on this one.

I started with a piece of Brilliant Blue Designer series paper. The piece is 4 x 8 folded in half. You then mark at the 2" on the open end and fold each side to that mark. (I know...clear as MUD!) Honestly, it is a VERY easy box to make. The rest is using Real Red, Whisper White and Brilliant Blue. The large star was stamped with versamark on Brilliant Blue and embossed with White embossing powder. For the others I used CRAFT Real Red and Brilliant Blue and embossed with clear EP. Since my little polka dotted paper reminded me of the stars, I just HAD to add the stripes so the Real Red Striped grosgrain ribbon was perfect for finishing off the piece.

I did a quick little drawing of the pattern for the box. You really can use any size but I used 4 x 8 or you could do 4 1/4 x 8 1/2...you get the idea. It's a fun, easy little treat container!

Happy stampin' everyone!
