Holy Triptych - Angel

This is one of those cards 'it looks better in real life'! And really...IT DOES!!! We did this at my technique class last night. I really like using Heat & Stick powder because when you add the glitter on top...it is sparkles to the MAX!!! So, how do you use heat & stick? Start with a pigment ink (either Versamark or craft) and stamp your image. It can be a bold image or a lined image...either works. Cover with the heat and stick powder. IMPORTANT: get your heat gun HOT before putting over image. You want to heat it until it just turns - this will only take a second...no...REALLY! If you heat it too long, it will not long be sticky. (Think of heat & stick as powdered glue.) Next cover with dazzling diamonds (or any fine glitter or pearl ex - SU doesn't sell this any more though) and press it into the heat & stick. Wipe off excess. I usually use a swiffer to get the excess off. That's all there is to it. Now watch it sparkle!
For this card I used Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose cardstock along with Shimmery White cardstock. I used Regal Rose CRAFT ink for both the image and the words. The sets are Holy Triptych and Fundamental Phrase. I used the 5/8" Rose Grosgrain ribbon and some pink embroidery floss for the tag. The small oval tag was used to cut out the 'with joy'. You'll be surprised how quick and easy this is to use!
