Happy Spring
What an absolutely BEAUTIFUL day it is outside today. I just LOVE lilacs and remember this fantastic lilac bush in my grandparents' backyard. It has always been one of my favorite spring flowers. For this card I used a color I just don't use often enough - Almost Amethyst - and I've paired it with Certainly Celery (probably my MOST favorite green) and white. The top layer of the flower is embossed with white embossing powder. The small overal punch was used to created the tag and the word is from Warm Words. Just a hint...when tying a bow using the cord, use a small dot of crystal effects to hold the knot so it won't come undone.
The Cheesecloth background was stamped on the card front using white craft ink then heat set (mainly because I'm impatient and wanted to get this done right away). Print pattern (my very favorite background) was stamped on the celery piece using celery ink. Oh...the base flower image was stamped using Almost Amethyst. That should just about do it!

I’m so glad to have found your blog. Many years ago, my UL and I wondered how to do a project that you had posted. You answered so nicely and quickly and was so eager to share. I’ve not forgotten that. I’ve always loved your style. Keep on stampin! Blessings, Judy
