And now for something totally different...here is a card we did today in my technique class. This is a little different style from the last one! The pumpkin use a technique called dry embossing with stamps. This is a technique that I learned through Patstamps - Technique Junkies newsletter. It is a WONDERFUL resource for GREAT techniques. The colors are Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green, and Natural Ivory. The stamp set is Give Thanks and it's hard to see on it but the Pumpkin Pie piece is stamped with the Flannel background stamp. I used the paper piercing tool around the corners. I ripped the bottom edge and then sponged with some Garden Green. The leafs were stamped on the inside layer. And did you notice????? NO RIBBON!!!! AMAZING!!!
