Dang...it really keeps being TOO LONG between posts! I'm hoping to get some stampin' for fun done this weekend so that I can have things to post throughout the week. It actually is going to be a pretty easy week for me...mostly just my teaching job and no workshops until the weekend - WOW!

Anyway, Beate continues to post these wonderful weekend sketch challenges on her blog. If you are not checking her blog out on a regular basis you really are missing some GREAT stuff! Okay, back to the card. So I told myself today after I got back from my bike ride (nothing amazing - just a little 6 mile loop) that I was going to sit down and do her one from Friday. So, here you go....

Garden Whimsey SC

I'm not sure why I really like the Fall Flower paper but it is just such a GREAT color combo. For this card I used a Sahara Sand base. The word 'tag' was also made with the Sahara Sand. It is punched out with the large oval punch. Since there really wasn't room for brads or ribbon on this I punched out a really rust and a groovy guava oval (large) and layered underneath. The ribbon is the guava double stitched ribbon (boy, I LOVE this stuff!). As always I really like cutting things out so that's what I did with the two large butterflies. Oh...the one layer is Groovy Guava otherwise all paper came from the Fall Flowers kit.

My friend Jackie is on her way over so we are going to play for a little bit. Can't wait! Happy stampin'! (to me too!)
