Candles 1

Okay...I think that this might be the last of my Christmas ideas. I REALLY need to get my Christmas cards made and sent and start designing things for my January and February events (I do like working ahead). I hope you have enjoyed some of these ideas and that they helped you with your gift giving ideas.

So here's my last one...a set of candles. I got these candles at Target and my immediate thought was using them with the Wintergreen paper (will be sad to see this go - didn't like it when I first saw it but WOW...in person it is FANTASTIC!). These truly could not be simpler! (Just a reminder...NEVER leave a candle burning unattended.)

So make these just pick your paper and start wrapping it around the candles. For my tallest one the paper was 10 1/4 x 4, medium 10 1/4 x 3 and shortest 10 1/4 x 2. The coordinating paper strip is 10 1/4 x 3/4. Then I just stamped the images from Merry & Bright in VersaMark and gold embossed on Very Vanilla paper. I punched out some scallops from Always Artichoke, Blue Bayou and Certainly Celery paper. Ribbons are Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla and Blue Bayou Double Stitched. Honestly that is all there is to it. The pictures below show you a close-up of the scallops.

Happy Stampin'!
