Blossoms Abound - a sketch challenge

Since we had picked this sketch to use I thought that the Blossoms Abound image would be perfect as the main focal point. I had recently received a beautiful swap card that used Soft Sky and Blush Blossom (a color I seldom use) and thought I would use these color with the new Afternoon Tea paper. What I like with the flower image is that I stamped the under image with Soft Sky and then the top image with Groovy Guava. I really like the two tone color on this. For the leaves I stamped the darker image with full strength Wild Wasabi and then the lighter green is a stamped off Wild Wasabi.
The ribbon is Blue Bayou double-stitched ribbon. I don't what the heck is going on with my scanner but it just absolutely refuses to do this color right...makes it look a little purplely (which it isn't). On the Blush Blossom paper I stamped it with my new background stamp - Pretty Petals. I used the Ticket Corner punch on the corners of the image but not on the under Groovy Guava (designer paper from the Afternoon Tea pack). Friend is from Fundamental Phrases set. The card is mounted on a piece of Groovy Guava and then on a Soft Sky base.
Hopefully this will help spring come soon...and get all this snow melting! Happy stampin'!

I still need to make this card! Sheesh! It goes on the list for today! I love the colors on this card and the lilacs look great in the soft sky…who’d-a-thunk! You’re my idol!
