Have you ever not stamped for awhile and then when you sit down to create something it seems REALLY difficult to come up with something? Well, that's kind of what had happened with me. Because of my schedule at school I didn't have a chance to stamp and then when I did sit down to stamp, I didn't know what I wanted to do so I didn't do anything. At first I thought it was because I was bored with my current stuff and needed some new rubber but then I just didn't feel very motivated. So what did I do? I took a break from cleaning my back room and decided to start with a warm up card.

Baroque Motif 1

I absolutely ADORE the new Baroque Motifs set that will be in the new catalog AND the new in-color Purely Pomegranate so decided to start there. This is a little 3x3 card and the colors are Purely Pomegranate, Not Quite Navy and Sahara Sand. I really like this combo. The larger 'flower' image is popped up on dimensionals. I did a line of paper piercing along the bottom of the Sahara Sand strip. In the centers of the larger flower are silver brads. All images on this card are from the Baroque Motifs set. Ribbon is the Cranberry grosgrain and it goes pretty good with this new color. The Pomegranate color is a brighter version of Rose Red (which I find to be more muted).

Okay...need to go to the back room again and do some more cleaning!
