This is the last day of convention and I'm SOOO excited! I won a door prize and got the Tres Chic background stamp! I LOVE this stamp and was wanting to buy it but just hadn't yet. Free RUBBER is ALWAYS the best! It has been an excellent convention and I'm soooo glad that I got. I just am leaving with soooooo many fantastic ideas to share with everyone over the next several months.

Anyway...my Mom-in-law asked me to make a special anniversary card for some friends of hers who are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. I think that is just wonderful! Anyway...wanted to do something a little different.

Baroque Motif - anniversary

I embossed the swirly image on a piece of vellum cardstock using VersaMark and Whisper White embossing powder. I also embossed the flower image on the three colors (Apricot Appeal, Groovy Guava and River Rock) using the VersaMark and Whisper White embossing powder. The swirly image is stamped on a piece of Groovy Guave cardstock using Groovy Guava ink then layered onto a piece of River Rock then an Apricot Appeal card base. The ribbons are White taffeta, Apricot Grosgrain and two of the ribbons from the Sherbet ribbon originals.

Tomorrow I'll be on my way home so I won't be online at all so it probably won't be until Sunday or Monday until I post again. Have a great weekend!
