Baroque Motif - Anniversary
Anyway...my Mom-in-law asked me to make a special anniversary card for some friends of hers who are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. I think that is just wonderful! Anyway...wanted to do something a little different.
I embossed the swirly image on a piece of vellum cardstock using VersaMark and Whisper White embossing powder. I also embossed the flower image on the three colors (Apricot Appeal, Groovy Guava and River Rock) using the VersaMark and Whisper White embossing powder. The swirly image is stamped on a piece of Groovy Guave cardstock using Groovy Guava ink then layered onto a piece of River Rock then an Apricot Appeal card base. The ribbons are White taffeta, Apricot Grosgrain and two of the ribbons from the Sherbet ribbon originals.
Tomorrow I'll be on my way home so I won't be online at all so it probably won't be until Sunday or Monday until I post again. Have a great weekend!

Oh man! I wish I had seen this card before today. I just made an anniversary card (60 years too) for my Uncle and Aunt, but I would have CASEd this card for sure had I seen it earlier.
So, so pretty. You are very clever.
