Back to Dad’s Day

I've still have a couple of things from the Dad's Day set to post. Here's another scrapbook page. This is my nephew-in-law with the always adorable Lauren. The base of the scrapbook page is River rock paper. For the color scheme I used River Rock, Real Red, Night of Navy and Old Olive. All the stars on the page are chipboard that I covered with CRAFT ink. As in previous Dad's Day posts, I used markers directly on the rubber and then a variety of punches and brads. Behind the "Happy Dad's Day" image is a metal tag that I cut the middle out of. I used the Classic Stars wheel in red on the Real Red paper. Also the photo corner punch was used for the corners and I paper pierced both the corners and down the strip of red. I always adds 'just a little' more.
I like the over clean look of this page. I tend to keep my background pretty plain overall...pretty much a style I like. I do really like scrapbooking and should really do it more often!
Happy Stampin'!
