Sometimes when looking at some sets that appear to be 'dated', they just need to be used with updated colors and papers to give it a new look.

This card is totally based on a card done by my friend Lisa Martz (she also my fabulous swap mom and will be my roomie at convention!). She shared a card that she made for a swap. I FELL IN LOVE with the colors and the layout and used it for a cool card using my favorite set Bodacious Bouquet. Well, I decided to take this updated look and try it out with the All the Best set that is going to be retiring.

All the Best

So what are these AMAZING colors that Lisa turned me on to???? Now...are you ready for this???? It's Whisper White, Blush Blossom, Sahara Sand and a little True Thyme. I would have NEVER in a MILLION YEARS thought of putting Blush Blossom (one of my least used colors...I mean, my pad actually looks NEW) with Sahara Sand and True Thyme. I do like the way this turned out. All stamps are from the All the Best set. The designer paper is from Spring Showers (for all of you who came to the mini stamp camp today...it's the same paper as the tag book). The hardware is Aged Copper and the ribbon is Thyme Stitched (still available through the end of this catalog year). Oh...I used a marker to get the Thanks. That's about it. A whole new look for a set that looked a little 'out-of-date'! -----
