Well, after making all those cute cards, I decided to make a little purse to put them all in so that I could give them to my mom-in-law for her birthday. A year or so ago, we did one of these but for full size cards and I thought a little one would be fun for a 'Mary's Make Its'. So here goes...

What you need:
Paper: Pretty in Pink 5 1/2 x 8 and 7/8 x 3 3/8
Celery Palette O'Prints 3 1/2 x 2 (2 pieces)
Scrap Whisper White
Scrap Regal Rose
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Basic Black
Markers: Regal Rose, Certainly Celery
Other: 28" White Grosgrain Ribbon, Lt. Pink Gingham, Small Tag Punch, Large Tag Punch, 1/8" punch, glue dots



Getting Started:
Take your large piece of Pretty in Pink. Score across the 8" length at 3 1/2 and 4 1/2. Score along the 5 1/2" length at 1" and 4 1/2". Trim to make tags (see picture on the right). This is just a picture of the pattern I used.



Randomly stamp all over cardstock. For mine I used the little flower image and Pretty in Pink ink. Remember that the images are 'directional' so stamp in all different directions to make sure they are not all right side up on one side and up side down on the other side.



Now take your two pieces of 2 x 3 1/2 Certainly Celery Designer papers and attach to each side. You want to try to line these up as best as you can. It's not that you will see both sides at the same time but this is what you use to line up your ribbon that will make the handles.



Fold ribbon in half and make a crease in the ribbon. Place a glue dot on the crease and place it on the bottom 1" panel. Put a glue dot on each end piece and place those on the bottom 1" panel. See the picture on the left. Do not worry about the ends of the ribbon as you are going to cover these in the next step. Now use glue dots to stick ribbon along each side of celery paper leaving loops at the top for the handles.



Take piece of Pretty in Pink 7/8" x 3 3/8" cardstock and tape it across bottom panel to hide the ribbon ends. This will just help the purse to have a more finished look on the bottom...well, not that anyone would necessarily look there, but just in case!



Now use your double-sided adhesive to put the purse together. Put tape on each 'tab' and then also on each side. Start by taping the tabs to the side panel and the fold up the other side and tape those together.




And there you have it...a cute little purse to put all those adorable 3x3 cards you made! This purse easily holds all 6 3x3 cards I made plus the matching envelopes. I added a little tag to my purse just to finish it off. So...pull out some of that paper and start making the little cards and the purse to hold them all in there!
