Here’s a little something I worked on yesterday...in the spirit of the 4th of July, I decided to go “red, white, and blue”...or in this case “red riding hood, whisper white, pacific point, and baja breeze”.

It really is a quick and easy card.  The base is Baja Breeze.  I stamped the ‘flower’ image from the Wow Flower set on a piece of Whisper White using the Red Riding Hood, Baja Breeze and Pacific Point.  This layered on a piece of Basic Black.  The long greeting is from a new set called Heard from the Heart.  It is really a nice set of 4 greetings.  I stamped that in black on a piece of Red Riding Hood.  This was layered (and offset) onto a piece of Pacific Point.  I punched out two 1/4” circles from the Baja Breeze and put that on the red.  I stamped the circle ‘happy birthday’ circle twice - once with Pacific Point and once with Red Riding Hood.  I cut out the red flower and layered it onto the blue circle.  I then punch a 1/4” circle and put that in the center of the flower.  I punched it out with 1” punch and then labuter onto a piece of Red Riding Hood, then Pacific Point and then a Basic Black Scallop.

So that’s my ‘4th of July’ card...a day late!  But knowing the folks around here...they will still be shooting of the fireworks and the noise makers for the next week!
