Oh…how I LOVE this set that is on special this month!  The reason I like it so much is that it is such a versatile set!

Those of you who came to my September card class had the chance to make this card.  I also used this card for a swap that I was in with some of my old swapping buddies.  But the card came out of a challenge that I did one day with my friend Lisa.  She picked the colors and one of use picked the layout (little fuzzy on details here) and away we went.  The reason I like the set so much is that the flower image lends itself to so many different techniques.  The other reason I like it is that the greetings that come with it are just wonderful!  The colors for this card are Pacific Point, Pumpkin Pie, Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip and Whisper white.  I used the new wide oval punch for the greeting.  I then punched it out in the Pacific Point and the Certainly Celery and layered them underneath.  I folded a piece of Pumpkin Pie Striped grosgrain ribbon under the tag.  Quick and easy card that really shows off this set.

Been busy around here lately.  School started back up and I had workshops on Monday and Tuesday.  It is FINALLY Thursday (which in MY world is really Friday) so I can kick back a little tonight.  Over the next couple of days I’m going to be showing the cards from my card class so stay tuned!

Happy stampin’!
