Here’s a card I made for my last FREAK swap.  Aren’t these two guys just the coolest?  This set really caught my eye the first time I saw it in the catalog!

Okay…lots going on in this card.  First the colors are whisper white, riding hood red, baja breeze, and basic grey.  All stamped images are from the Two Cool Dudes set.  The Baja Breeze dsp is from Urban Gardens…yep…a flower set!  The snowflake is stamped on the riding hood red strip using riding hood red ink. I punched a strip of basic grey and layered that behind the dsp.  To do the big ‘dude’, I stamped it first using Baja Breeze.  Then I cleaned my stamp and used my ruby red marker on just the ‘scarf’, stamped on a scrap and cut it out.  If you didn’t want to cut it out, what you could do is ink your stamp with the baja breeze and then use your finger or thumb to ‘wipe’ the ink off the scarf and then use your ruby red marker to ink that area.  He is also layered onto a piece of basic grey.  For the little ‘dude’, I stamped him with ruby red CRAFT ink, covered with iridescent ice embossing powder and heat embossed.  He is then punch out with the tag punch (sorry…can’t remember if he fits the large or small one).

To finish everything off, I punch two 1/4” circles out of basic grey and put them on the red strip.  I tied a knot in a piece of basic grey taffeta ribbon and used a glue dot to attach that on top of the tag.  Then I used the basic grey marker to ink up just the “season of white” from the greeting set and stamped that under the tag.  My trusty stamp-a-ma-jig helped me get that just where I want it and nice and straight.

There is definitely alot going on in this card (and I think I made like 35 of these puppies for my swap) but it was a fun card to make for my swap group.  I forgot I hadn’t posted this one before and wanted to share it with everyone.  So until next time…happy stampin’!
