Another Mojo Challenge Card

One time instead of doing our challenges at the same time, we (Connie, Lisa and I) decided that we would have a couple of ‘assignments’ that we would work on when we could.  The first was one the cards and I’ll post the other one at another time.

So we picked this Mojo Monday sketch for this assignment.  Connie thought that the sketch really lent itself to having a word be the main focal point so we decided to go with that.  I decided I really liked the Cameo Coral, Soft Sky, So Saffron, Basic Grey look from another card I did.  I needed to make a very special THANK YOU card so I decided my word would be THANKS.  Now the biggest problem I encountered to that most of my large alphabet sets have been retired but I still had my Big Deal one.  But the problem with that is the letters are very wide and I couldn’t fit it on a regular sized card so this is a REALLY BIG THANKS card.  The card base is a piece of Soft Sky 8 1/2 x 11 folded!  I took a piece of Whisper White and using Soft Sky ink and the “Much Appreciated” set, randomly stamped those words.  On the piece of Cameo Coral, I stamped the flourish from the Stitched Exotics set with Cameo Coral ink.  I stamped the flowers from the Stitched Exotics set using Soft Sky, So Saffron and Cameo Coral and then stamped the letters with Basic Grey and cut them out and layered them on top.

I used my coluzzle to cut out a half circle and the my 1/4” punch to make Cameo Coral and So Saffron dots. The flower used the 5 Petal punch and one of the flowers from the Boho Blossom punch.  I used a So Saffron colored brad in the center.  It is finished off with Soft Sky double-stitched ribbon.

I was really happy with the way this turned out.  I honestly don’t ever remember making this big of a card but really like it!  Happy Stampin’!
